Giving Back to the Community
04/12/2011

This past weekend Kennedy's Jewelers staff attended several local charity events. Friday night, Trisha and Danielle attended the Community Service League event at The Hilton in Independence. Community Service League benefits the Independence Community. Kennedy's donated a 1 carat platinum diamond ring which raised $1900 for the League. With over 500 attendees it was the biggest turnout they have ever had!

Saturday night, Carly, Melissa, & Christy attended the House of Hope Charity Auction at the Higginsville Senior Center. Kennedy's donated a diamond tennis bracelet. Instead of auctioning it, people donated $20 to enter a raffle to win. It was a great event as well.

Saturday night, the rest of our staff attended the Rainbow Center Auction which benefits special needs children and adults. Trisha Kennedy is the head of the donations committee so we were happy to see such a successful turnout. Kennedy's donated several pieces to the auction, including a  pair of diamond earrings, Tahitian Pearls, and a Shihtzu puppy. Kennedy's contributions helped the Rainbow Center raise over $3000!

This weekend you can find Kennedy's at Spring Into Hope, a benefit for the Marion Hope Foundation at the Independence Events Center. It is an all day shopping event Saturday, with a VIP preview Friday night. Come visit the Kennedy's booth to win a pair of diamond stud earrings.

Several of our staff will also be attending the Red Cross Ball this weekend, and we are excited for that as well! Kennedy's is donating a custom designed red cross diamond and ruby pendant/broach and a diamond and pink sapphire necklace. They will be available in the Live Auction.

Kennedy's enjoys giving back to the community that has so generously given to us over the years!
